The Bean Around Books Bookstore features over 15,000 books. You can find used, out-of-print and rare books plus a section devoted to local BC authors. Our shelves are stocked with the best from Action, Adventure, Science Fiction to History or Personal Development. Additionally, we have a great selection of Bestseller novels and stories. Come on in and check out all that we have to offer!

We are always accepting books by donation or for sale and trade. If you want to sell your book(s) our policy is simple – bring in your books and if they qualify, we will re-sell them. If so, we will then give you 25% worth of credit in the store. For each future book you wish to purchase we will offer it at 50% of the listed price and work off your credit in the store. We’ll keep a running total for you.
*NOTE: We are looking for books of good quality (spine intact, no rips, all pages) as well as making sure we believe we can resell the book. Don’t worry, we’re not going to be book snobs but we also need to make sure we are not just stocking something that will only attract dust.

If so, we love to support local authors and we are happy to sell your books and even arrange to have a book launch/signing if you’re looking to host a special day in the store.
